Brass plaque on wall inside church.

In honoured memory of the men of East Tisted
who gave their lives for God, King and Country in
the Great War 1914 - 1919.

Walter James Titheridge, Pte: 6th Somerset Lt. Infantry,
died while a prisoner of war in Germany 11th May 1918.

Leonard George Gibbs, L/Corpl: 2/4th Hampshire Regt.,
killed in action near Havrincourt 13th Sept. 1918.

Frederick James Norgate, Corpl: Machine Gun Corps,
died in North Russia 23rd Sept. 1919.

Sydney Walter
2nd Lieutenant Grenadier Guards,
only son of Godfrey and Edith Walter,
of Malshanger in the County of Hampshire.
Who was killed in action on October 23rd 1914,
at the Battle of Ypres in Flanders,
aged 21 years.
